BOI Rule Again Delayed by Court
The same federal appeals court that reinstated the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting rule under the Corporate Transparency Act on Monday has now reversed itself. The Fifth Circuit instead reinstated a nationwide injunction against the rule until it rules on the full merits of the case. The Fifth Circuit has expedited a hearing over a case against the rule from a federal court in Texas that granted the initial injunction earlier in December.
